This one begins the Full Fathom 5 Special that I told ya'll I was gonna do.
I rather like it.
The description (of the whole 'episode,' not just this post) : This begins Okite and Tak's travails through the world. Okite is still a reclusive hermit, and the skeletons have just encamped on his doorstep. If you're confused by this, you may want to start with Prophecy.
Well, The Most Reverend Tobiaz suggested I start archiving them here, in a sensical order. I can't promise sensical, but order and archiving I can do.
I'm posting these on my journal as they come to me (Prophecy) but I'm gonna do a special one just for Full Fathom 5. It will be appropriately titled. The first two posts of Prophecy are complete, but it's just gonna be a one-day story. I actually have some other ideas.
Here's something I wrote a little while ago. It was inspired by a BESM anime rpg, it's about my character, Seth. It's just something I was thinking about a couple of days ago and I just started jotting down these ideas. Anyway, I thought this community could use an update so I just threw this in. Enjoy.
A mist descends from motley slopes That sink down together and rest on the earth An autumn wind inspires the wandering.
Yet the mist that seeps down, pulling with it tenuous rain, Sinks into the earth, settles in the bones Of pending beasts. Dense sweet spheres resting atop feathers, Running grooves along the dust of wings Preventing the flames from breaking into ashes-- Leaving instead a thing half-ruined Scarcely fleeting recognition Arrested in transformation Halted rebirth. Neglected, sinking into earth Left with ruined wings weighted in anticipation Of pressing droplets forming rives birthing seas.
A wisping, inverted zephyr exhales upon the motley slopes And slips along the backs of pending beasts To leap into the breast of inspiration And leave behind the living casualty With want of disintigrating memory To sink deeply, To return Unto the earth.
